In May 2026 I finally filmed the cat-cow I keep offering in class: three minutes, living-room rug, no playlist required. Third trimester is not the season for a heroic flow. It is the season for a long spine and a snack within reach.
Come onto hands and knees. Inhale, let the belly soften toward the floor. Exhale, round the back as if you are hugging baby from the inside. Keep the range small. If wrists complain, come onto fists or forearms.
I like this after lunch, when the sofa is calling and the to-do list is lying. Five rounds is enough. Then sit on a cushion, sip water, and let the breath drop lower than the collarbones.
If you only have the energy for one shape today, this is the one. Save the fancy hip openers for a day when someone else is on baby duty.
